Country + Providers are region‑strict. Turning on Produced in country limits to local productions. If you don’t pick providers, availability isn’t filtered (you’ll still see those productions).

People & Titles: Add one Actor/Actress, one Director, a Keyword theme, and/or exclude specific titles by name. These are strict: the result must match them exactly. We auto paginate deeper when people or exclusions are set, but we never relax them.

More filters: Release window buckets (Last 5, 5–10, 10–15, 15–20, 20+ years), Duration (movies), Content comfort, Minimum rating.

Watched: Mark something as watched to hide it from future picks on this device. Manage / Clear it above under Your Preferences.

Favorites: Tap the heart to save a title locally. They don’t affect results—just a personal list you can manage or clear.

Strict by design: If nothing fits, you’ll see a clear “no matches” message—never a loose fallback.

Tip: Actor + Director + multiple exclusions can shrink the pool fast. If you hit empty, remove one at a time.
